Jillian Carlson

Jillian Carlson joined the Board of Regents staff in 2023. Prior to her position with the Board of Regents, Jillian worked for the Iowa Senate for six years. During her time in the Senate, she worked on the Senate Republican Caucus Staff as a Legislative Research Analyst for the Education, Transportation, and Ethics committees. She also served as the Chief of Staff in the Senate President’s Office. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Iowa State University and is currently pursuing her master’s in business administration from the University of Iowa.
