The Board of Regents presented its Regents Awards for Faculty and Staff Excellence to five faculty and staff members at the University of Northern Iowa during the October Board meeting. UNI Interim President Jim Wohlpart joined Regents President Bruce Rastetter to present the awards

The Board of Regents has announced the dates of the public forums involving the finalists to become the next president at the University of Northern Iowa. The forums will occur over four consecutive days.

The 2016 Campus Safety and Security Summit was held October 26, 2016 at Scheman Building at Iowa State University. The summit, which welcomed professionals in higher education and other fields to share best practices and information, featured three keynote presentations and 24 breakout sessions

At the Nov. 11 dedication of University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, 11-year-old twins Berne and Maren Denison of Cedar Falls summed up the importance of the new hospital in a way only they could.
