The state of Iowa’s six-year graduation rate from four-year public universities is the nation’s best, according to the National Student Clearinghouse. Within six years of enrollment at Iowa, Iowa State, or UNI, 68.9 percent of students complete their bachelor’s degree at one of those institutions. 

Five faculty and four staff members from Iowa State University were honored with Regents Awards for Faculty and Staff Excellence at the Feb. 23 Board of Regents Meeting. Iowa State President Steven Leath joined Regents President Bruce Rastetter to present the awards.

UNI Day at the Capitol was February 13. The University showcased its students and faculty on the First Floor Rotunda.

The first ISD Deaf Cultural Celebration weekend, set for April 21 – 23 will be full of acceptance, diversity, American Sign Language, English, learning, food and fun. Never before has ISD hosted an event of this kind or scale. Read More at ISD

University of Iowa President Bruce Harreld announced Feb. 20 that the University of Iowa campus will be coal-free by 2025.
